Terms of Service.

1. About SlabHub

SlabHub is a collector-focused platform being developed to provide collection-management services through Stockroom and to facilitate the buying, selling and trading of eligible collectible items through SlabHub Marketplace. SlabHub may also provide Wants, Chases, catalogue and card-identification features, Buyer Protection, Trade Protection, SlabHub Verified, messaging, reviews, promotional listings and related services.

2. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account, protecting login credentials and ensuring that account information remains accurate. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.

3. Marketplace Transactions

Users may buy, sell and trade eligible collectibles through SlabHub. Users are responsible for ensuring listings are accurate, transactions are lawful, communications are honest and shipping obligations are fulfilled.

4. Listings

Listings must accurately describe the item being offered. Sellers must not use misleading information, hide material defects or list prohibited items. SlabHub may remove listings that breach platform rules.

5. User Content & Uploaded Images

You may be able to upload photographs, scans, descriptions, collection information, listing content, messages, reviews and other material to SlabHub. You retain any copyright and other intellectual-property rights that you own in content you upload. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your content to SlabHub.

You must only upload content that you are entitled to use and share. To the extent that you control the relevant rights, you grant SlabHub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, crop, resize, compress, convert and otherwise technically adapt your uploaded content where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain and improve SlabHub and to provide the features for which the content was uploaded.

Card photographs or scans may also be used to identify or match cards, sets, parallels and variants, support catalogue-quality checks, investigate duplicate or inaccurate catalogue records and improve SlabHub’s card-identification and catalogue workflows, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

SlabHub will not automatically treat every uploaded card image as shared catalogue imagery. Where an uploaded image is considered suitable for the shared SlabHub catalogue, selection will be subject to human or administrator review.

If an uploaded card image is reviewed and selected for use as shared catalogue imagery, you grant SlabHub, to the extent that you control the relevant rights in that image, a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free and perpetual licence to reproduce, store, crop, resize, compress, technically adapt and display the selected catalogue copy as part of SlabHub’s catalogue and related card-identification features. This catalogue licence survives removal of the original upload and closure or deletion of the originating account.

The catalogue licence is limited to operating, maintaining, presenting and improving SlabHub’s shared catalogue and related card-identification functionality. It does not transfer ownership of your copyright to SlabHub, and no royalty or other payment is due solely because an uploaded image is selected for catalogue use.

You acknowledge that a card photograph or scan may depict artwork, branding, trademarks or other material owned by third parties. You only grant SlabHub rights that you are legally able to grant; nothing in these Terms transfers third-party intellectual-property rights to you or to SlabHub.

Personal-information handling, de-identification and account-deletion treatment for uploaded images are explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Fees and Payments

Certain SlabHub services may be subject to fees, including Buyer Protection, Trade Protection, SlabHub Verified and promoted listings. Fees will be displayed before payment is taken. Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe.

7. SlabHub Verified

SlabHub Verified is an inspection and forwarding service. It is not a grading service, authentication service, valuation service or investment advice. Participation in SlabHub Verified is subject to the relevant SlabHub Verified terms and policies.

8. Buyer Protection and Trade Protection

Buyer Protection and Trade Protection are designed to reduce risk in qualifying transactions, but they do not eliminate all risks associated with collectible transactions. Coverage, exclusions and claim processes are governed by SlabHub’s applicable policies.

9. User Conduct

Users must act honestly, respectfully and lawfully. Fraud, scams, harassment, misleading listings, false disputes, abuse of protections and attempts to circumvent platform rules may result in restrictions, suspension or account closure.

10. Reviews and Feedback

Users may be able to leave reviews following completed transactions. Reviews should be truthful, relevant and based on genuine transaction experiences.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlabHub shall not be liable for market value changes, future grading outcomes, future resale value, indirect losses, consequential losses, user-to-user conduct or carrier-related losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.

12. Privacy

Use of SlabHub is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Personal information, including personal information associated with uploaded images, is processed in accordance with that policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
