How SlabHub works

One collecting ecosystem.
Different journeys.

SlabHub is being built around two connected products: Stockroom for managing the collection, and Marketplace for safer buying, selling and trading.

Stockroom is in development · Marketplace coming soon
Stockroom Know what you own.

Track cards, physical copies, Wants, Chases and collection history.

Marketplace Buy with more structure.

Protected payment flows and clearer transaction status are planned.

Protected trades Both sides follow one flow.

Items are designed to move through SlabHub before forwarding.

SlabHub Verified An extra practical check.

Eligible items can be compared with the agreed listing or trade details.

01 · Stockroom

Your collection,
with more context.

Stockroom is still in active development. It is being built around the exact cards and physical copies you own, rather than only a flat checklist of card names.

1

Add the exact card

Record the specific version, parallel, serial and other identifying details where relevant.

2

Track the physical copy

Keep copy-level information such as acquisition details, condition and associated costs.

3

Build Wants & Chases

Keep exact cards you want and larger collecting goals organised separately from what you own.

4

Keep the history

When a copy is sold, traded or removed, the aim is to preserve the record rather than lose the story.

02 · Marketplace

Buying and selling.
More structured.

Buying · planned flow

From listing to delivery.

Marketplace is being designed to give buyers a clearer purchase journey than informal messages and screenshots alone.

1
Choose a listingReview the item details, images and seller information.
2
Use protected checkoutEligible cash purchases are designed to use SlabHub’s protected transaction flow.
3
Follow shipping & statusTransaction progress is intended to remain visible inside the platform.
4
Raise an issue if neededRelevant terms, evidence and dispute processes apply where something goes wrong.
Selling · planned flow

List clearly. Ship properly.

Seller tools are being designed around clear item details, transaction records and visible fulfilment status.

1
Create the listingDescribe the exact item accurately and provide useful photos.
2
Buyer completes checkoutThe purchase enters the relevant SlabHub transaction flow.
3
Ship as requiredUse suitable packaging and any required tracking or delivery method.
4
Keep the transaction recordStatus and relevant issue handling are designed to remain attached to the transaction.

03 · Protected trades

Neither collector
needs to send first.

Protected trades are designed so both sides agree one transaction and route their items through SlabHub before anything is forwarded.

1
Agree the tradeBoth collectors confirm the cards/items and the agreed terms.
2
Enter the protected trade flowThe relevant protection fee and transaction requirements apply.
3
Both sides send to SlabHubItems are sent in before either side receives the other collector’s item.
4
Check against the agreementSlabHub can compare the received items with the agreed trade details.
5
Forward or reviewIf materially consistent, items can be forwarded; concerns can pause the transaction for review.

04 · SlabHub Verified

An extra practical
trust layer.

SlabHub Verified is designed to check whether an eligible item appears materially consistent with the listing or agreed trade details before forwarding.

What may be checked

Details can include subject/player, set, year, card number, serial number, grading company/grade, visible condition and other stated listing or trade information.

If something looks wrong

The transaction can be paused while the issue is reviewed. The available outcome depends on the transaction type, evidence and applicable SlabHub policies.

Important context

Protection reduces risk.
It does not remove it.

SlabHub Verified is not a grading, authentication, valuation or appraisal service.
Protection services do not guarantee that every dispute or problem can be prevented.
Full terms, exclusions and relevant dispute processes apply to transactions.
Product features and processes may change while Stockroom and Marketplace remain in development.

Built to give collectors more context and more structure.
